About Gilmore

Gilmore Reproductions has been serving the needs of the design community since 1983. As the original division of R.E. Gilmore Investments Corporation, it is now a family member of a 650 employee strong communications company.

With its roots in the AEC community, Gilmore Reproductions began with six people at our 61 Queen Street facility and quickly grew to twenty-five by 1986. This was a turning point for the Corporation when it expanded to take on the former facilities of K.G. Campbell Corporation at City Center and other divisions were formed and subsequently started to grow in their respective markets.

1987

1987 saw the reproduction division lease facilities at 1636 Woodward Drive. With a main production facility at City Center and two satellite production locations, Gilmore Reproductions was able to serve the explosive needs of Architects, Engineers, Contractors, Graphic Designers, Mapping Companies, Government and many other market segments in the 1980's economy.

1991

In 1991, Real Time Colour was formed to better serve the Graphic Design market with digital colour services. This division is a sub-division of GIlmore Reproductions and now operates mainly out of our 1636 Woodward Dr location.

Through the recessionary 1990's, the Corporation continued to grow and the Reproduction Division added a facility in Hull and bought Ashley Reproductions on Bank Street. In 1998 consolidation of its facilities on Bank Street and in Hull to Woodward Drive required expansion of that facility to more than double its original size. During this expansion over 1 million dollars was invested in new technology to bring Gilmore Reproductions to a fully digital operation.

2007

In 2007, some very important capital investments were made to allow us to continue to service our client base with the very latest in technology and added value services. Our Real Time Colour division saw its large format capabilities grow by leaps and bounds with the arrival of an ECO-Solvent based colour plotter, a state of the art HP dye based plotter as well as the highly anticipated OCÉ Arizona 250 GT flatbed printer. Our AEC segment saw the arrival of its new FTP tool, MyFiles as well as its exclusive Document Management System, ReproMAX DFS. We also moved our original downtown facility from 61 Queen St. to a new and improved location just two blocks away at 30 Metcalfe (corner of Queen St. and Metcalfe, formerly HSBC)

Gilmore Reproductions now employs over fifty people, serving over 2500 companies with digital print, large format colour, and document management services and is always looking to add services to better serve its customer base. Our commitment to exceptional customer service, value-added services and employing the latest in technology has never wavered. We are here to serve with Quality, Integrity and Knowledge and we look forward to serving you.
